Hi, we are Dee and Dave Kinsman, owners and property managers for Meraki Lodge. As owners of a premier vacation rental in the Chelan area we care about how our property is maintained and do everything we can to provide an exceptional customer experience for our guests. First and foremost, we want the house and grounds to be perfect! From the home's beautiful landscaping, immaculate cleanliness, tasteful furnishings, well-stocked and equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, complimentary bathroom amenities, plentiful pool towels and float toys, to the multiple entertainment options provided, we care about all of the details! Our mission is to provide everything all vacationers could want or expect in a vacation rental home. Let us know how we are doing and if we are missing anything. Meraki Lodge History
Dave and I are both Washington natives and spent most of our lives living and working in the greater Seattle area. We have been vacationing in the Chelan/Wenatchee area with our two children annually for over 25 years. For 5 years we searched Chelan and the Columbia River area north of Wenatchee for property to buy so we could build a vacation rental which would also be our future retirement home. In June of 2016, we purchased a 7 acre parcel in Manson Washington which was once an apple orchard located on what was known as Griffith Hill. We immediately began working with an architect to design our dream home. Construction did not begin until September 2017 due to delays in permitting and lengthy process of obtaining our construction loan. Meraki Lodge was completed in October 2018. We have been enjoying the home during our own vacations and maintenance project time set aside but otherwise have offered it as a vacation rental for others to enjoy since October of 2018.
Meraki Lodge was featured in the 2019 Chelan Home Tour benefiting Chelan Hospital (read more detail about owners and home's history in the article here). In 2020, we added a barn to the Meraki Lodge Estate that we use to house our recreational vehicles and equipment used to maintain the home and property. In September of 2020, we sold our Woodinville home and moved full-time to Chelan. In Spring of 2021 we added an 8-person hot tub. In September of 2021 we took over full-time management of Meraki Lodge. In Spring of 2022, we are adding a 4.5 acre vineyard that will surround the home improving the already stunning views and increasing the ambience for our own enjoyment as well as that of our vacation rental guests.
